This past weekend Scott Hodge wrapped up our “TOGETHER” series by delivering a passionate and straightforward challenge to our community to fully engage in The Orchard’s mission these four ways: connect, serve, give, invite.

Last weekend Scott Hodge wrapped up our “Insert Sacred [Here] series by introducing the word “YES” – a word that points us to the spiritual practice of surrender. True surrender is not a “giving up”, it is a “giving to” God and life itself.

“Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering.”
Romans 12:1-2

When hear word “sacred” we often think of “doing more” for God, or adding in additional religious exercises like going to church more, reading our Bibles more, etc…

But what if sacredness is meant to first and foremost be experienced in what often feels like the normal and mundane parts of our lives?

Join us this fall as we explore a handful of SIMPLE SPIRITUAL PRACTICES that will help infuse our everyday, ordinary lives with the sacred.
